Storage Format
Storage Format is where you can format the internal storage. All logs are deleted. It does not affect
the settings regarding the connection with monitored devices. No additional commands are sent to
the monitored devices.
When “Warning Level” is
Enabled
and
Used
exceeds the set level, a message is shown:

or when the set level exceeds the
used one:

Warning Level increases;
• Memory is freed by removing old files – use FTP client;
• [Format] – deletes ALL files – System and Port LOGs.
Firmware Update
Firmware Update installs an updated DB2003 firmware version. Unless there are explicit
instructions accompanying the firmware, it does not cause or require change in any of the settings.
It does not delete the logs. If Dayparting has been activated for any Telemetry Port, a command will
be sent to the monitored device to determine the forward power in accordance with the current time.
Notify Power Up
If you
Enable
the respective notification channel (Email, SMS, SNMP trap), you will receive a
notification once DB2003 boots up. For that to happen, settings for the notification channel must be
applied.
