Connect one end of the AC adapter to the DC-in port on the computer’s rear 
panel and the other end to a properly grounded power outlet.

Important

: When plugging the AC adapter into the system, make sure that 

the arrow on the plug is facing down.

Note

: If you plugged in the AC adapter the wrong way, the AC adapter will 

automatically shut down. Unplug the AC adapter from the outlet, then unplug 
it from the computer.  Wait 5 seconds before you plug the AC adapter into 
the outlet; then correctly plug into the computer.
