Key component upgrades

Your computer delivers superior power and performance.  However, some users 
and the applications they use may demand more.  This computer allows you to 
upgrade or replace key components when you need increased performance.

Note

: Contact your authorized dealer if you decide to perform a key 

component upgrade.

Opening and closing the computer for upgrades

Follow these steps to open and close the computer for upgrades:

Opening the computer

1.

Turn off the computer and unplug the AC adapter. Then turn the computer 
over to access its base.

2.

Remove the screws (1) from the compartment containing the memory; then 
slide out and remove the cover (2, 3).
