4. Insert the new processor by aligning the notched corner of the socket (1);
place the processor carefully on the socket (2), making sure not to bend any
pin; push down the locking lever to lock the processor in place (3).
5. Replace the processor fan on top of the new processor (1); replace the screws
in the order as shown (2, 3, 4, 5); connect the power connector of the
processor fan (6).
6. Follow the instructions in “Closing the computer” on page 45 to close the
computer.
