TRANSPORT TIME CALIBRATION (CONT.)
Select each process time and check the actual transport time of a test film, leading edge in to
leading edge out. The time from leading edge into the Developer Module to leading edge into the
Fixer Module is approximately one quarter of the total transport time through the entire machine.
This may be used to expedite motor speed adjustments. (25% Dev + 25% Fix + 50% Wash/Dry
= 100%)
REPLENISHMENT SYSTEM CALIBRATION (9000 ONLY)
The following procedure may be used for verifying or re-calibrating the 9000 replenishment
system.
1.
If the processor is ON, turn the Main Power Switch OFF, wait 10 - 15 seconds and
then
turn back ON. This will cycle both pumps at a full prime rate for 6-9
seconds.
2.
Leave the red Evaporator Cover on the Developer Transport and place the 50 ml
beaker
supplied with the processor on top of the cover.
3.
Pull the red developer Replenisher Tube and Clip from the Solution Tray and Frame
and
put the end of the tube into the beaker.
4.
Hold a Size 2 unprocessed (green) intraoral film directly under one of the four (4)
sen-
sors in the Entry Feed Slot for one (1) minute. (A white business card will
substitute).
The output should be 20 ml (cc's). If not, adjust VR6 according to
the decal on the inside
of the cover accordingly.
5.
Thoroughly rinse the beaker and repeat the same procedure for the fix output, using
VR7 to adjust.
6.
Replace the Evaporator Plates. Replace the Control Module Cover and reinstall the
screw in the top of the cover. Replace the Access Covers.
