2.1 “BHT Preparation” Procedure
Follow the steps below to prepare the BHT.

Attach the stylus to prevent it from being lost.

Calibrate the touch screen and set the calendar clock
when the power is turned ON for the first time.
2.2 Loading and Charging the Battery
The battery is not charged when purchased.
Charge the battery before using.
To charge the battery, use only the CU.
The charge time is approximately 3 hours for the standard rechargeable battery, 4.5 hours for the
large-capacity rechargeable battery.
A slightly discharged battery takes less times to fully charge.
Charging Precautions
•
Do not touch the BHT, battery, or charger terminals by hand or stain them.
Failure to follow instruction may result in a contact failure or a charging error.
•
Never charge the battery near fire or in a high-temperature environment.
High-temperatures may activate the charger protection device to stop charging, or lead
to protection device damage, overheating, explosion or fire.
•
Stop charging if the charge does not complete after the specified time has elapsed.
