Planning the connection of the solar modules (DC)
5.5.4 Notes on the assignment of the DC con-
nections if fewer than 18 module strings
are connected
If you want to implement connection variants
other than those shown in this section, please
contact Delta Customer Support. You can find
the contact information on the last page of this
manual.
Always assign the DC connections in the order indicated (Fig.
5.19).
This is especially important when fewer than 18 module strings
are connected. Fig. 5.20 and Fig. 5.21 show examples for con-
necting six and 10 module strings.

Special case: “Not all DC inputs are used.”
A voltage must be present at each MPP tracker (= DC input).
If you do not want to use a DC input at all, you must connect a
jumper to connector

For the jumpers, use the supplied DC plugs and the same con-
ductor cross-section as for the module strings.
