Using the System Setup Program
NOTE:
For most of the options, any changes that you make are recorded but do not take effect until you restart the
system.
Exiting the System Setup Program
If you have made no changes in the BIOS, the
Exit
screen displays the following options after you press
<Esc> to exit the System Setup program:

Remain in Setup
•
Exit
If you have made changes in the BIOS, the
Exit
screen displays the following options after you press <Esc>
to exit the System Setup program:
•
Remain in Setup
•
Save/Exit
•
Discard/Exit

Up arrow and down arrow
Moves to the previous or next field
Left arrow and right arrow
Moves left or right in a field
<+> and <–> keys
Opens and closes submenus
<Enter>
Allows you to view the details for or modify an option,
or allows you to confirm your setting change and moves
the cursor back to the option menu
<Esc>
Either moves your cursor back to the option menu
without modifying an option, or opens the System
Setup
Exit
screen
