Enter a name for the new connection, select an icon, and then click

After you select an available COM port, the COM port properties window appears.

setting from
Auto detect

ANSI

VT 100/220

Ensure that this setting is the same as the setting you selected for the
Console
Redirection
option on the server module.

Terminal Setup

A setting for the number of rows and columns appears.

Change the number of rows from

to
26
and leave the number of columns at
80
.
If you do not have these settings, you must upgrade your terminal emulation software.

twice.

Press <Enter> to get the serial console logon:
Username = root
Password = calvin
You are logged in to the remote access features on the system management module.
