Follow the instructions in "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
."
2.
Turn the computer over and remove the six M2.5 x 5-mm screws that are not labeled.
3.
Remove the
keyboard
.
4.
Remove the
display assembly
.
5.
Remove the
memory shield
.
6.
Remove the
hard drive
.
7.
Remove the
thermal-cooling assembly
.
8.
Remove the
palm rest
.
9.
Disconnect the power button cable from the system board.
10.
Remove the M2 x 3-mm screw securing the power button to the system board.
11.
Lift the power button straight out of the base.
