1.

Follow the instructions in "

Preparing to Work Inside the Computer

."  

 

 

  

2.

Remove the 

keyboard

.  

 

 

  

3.

Remove the 

hinge covers

.  

 

 

  

4.

Close the display and turn the computer upside down.  
 

 

  

5.

Remove the two screws labeled "D" from the bottom of the computer.  
 

  

 

 

6.

Turn the computer top-side up and open the display.  
 

 

  

7.

Remove the two M2 x 5.5-mm screws from the hinges.  
 

 

  

8.

Remove the captive display-cable ground screw (if present).  
 

 

  

9.

Disconnect the display cable using the pull-tab, and release the cable from the cable-routing guides.  
 

 

  

10.

Disconnect the two antenna-cable connectors.  
 

 

  

11.

Lift the display straight out of the computer base.
