NOTE:

Ensure not to bend the heatsink pipe while removing the heatsink from the SSD. Do not remove the heatsink

by pulling on the pipe. Carefully pry the cover from the SSD using a plastic scribe.

2. Lift the heat-sink away from the system board.

Installing the heat-sink

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

1. Align the screws on the heat-sink with the screw holes on the system board.
2. Tighten the four captive screws to secure the heat-sink to the system board.
