Align the base cover with the screw holders on the laptop .

Press the edges of the cover until it clicks into place.

Tighten the M2x5 screws to secure the base cover to the laptop.

To remove the battery:
a Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b Loosen the M2x5 screw (1) that secure the battery to the laptop [2].
c Lift the battery away from the laptop chassis [3].
