Replacing the palm rest and
keyboard assembly

Procedure
Place the palmrest and keyboard assembly on a flat surface with the keyboard
facing down.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the display assembly .
2 Replace the system board .
3 Replace the processor fan and heat assembly .
4 Replace the speakers .
5 Replace the touch pad .
6 Replace the power-adapter port .
7 Replace the I/O board .
8 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 4 in “ Replacing the hard drive ”.
9 Replace the wireless card .
10 Replace the power and volume-buttons board .
11 Replace the battery .
12 Replace the base cover .
