MAINTENANCE
• When the power is connected, the yellow LED "ALIM"
i
(
fig. J
) is lit. If the LED goes out, check
the power supply at the "220-240V" terminal and check the fuse in the electronic unit
and in the electrical service cupboard.
If the problem persists, replace the electronic unit ref. 495444BC.
If water flows continuously from the mixer/tap:
Shut-off the 220-240V power supply. If the water stops, replace the electronic unit. If the water does not stop,
check that the solenoid valve has been installed correctly and clean/rinse the solenoid valve at the outlet
by lifting the valve with a small screw driver. Replace the solenoid valve, not forgetting to replace the filter too.
If water does not flow from the mixer/tap when hands are detected in front of the sensor:
•
The red LED
h
(fig. J)
is lit:
the electronic unit is in security mode. An object in front of the sensor
has activated the security mode after the timed shut-off period has ended: remove the object. Check
and clean the sensor.
•
The green LED
j
(fig. J) is not lit:
The cell on the sensor is dirty or the sensor cable is not connected
to the terminal BMR.
- Check and clean the cell on the sensor.
- Check that the cable is not damaged and is connected correctly.
- Check the wires are not touching each other.
- Check that the sensor cable has not been lengthened or shortened (standard length 70cm).
•
The green LED
j
(fig. J) is lit but there is no water flowing:
the solenoid valve is not opening.
- Check that the filter is clean and not blocked.
- Check that voltage at the solenoid valve terminal is 12V alternating. If it is, replace the solenoid valve.
If it is not, check that the power supply cable is connected correctly to the terminal
and that it has not been cut.
• Mixer: regularly check (as often as necessary) the temperature selector and the mixer's two internal seats
on which the side temperature selector turns. Replace as necessary.
• The non-return valves should be checked at least once a year.
• Beware: do not grease the inside of the mechanism.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
•
Cleaning chrome:
Do not use abrasive, chlorine or acid-based cleaning products. Clean with
mild soapy water using a cloth or a sponge.
•
Frost protection:
Drain the pipes and operate the mixer/tap several times to drain any remaining water.
ADJUSTMENTS
Electronic unit:
•
The detection distance
can be adjusted from 5 - 22cm using the potentiometer "GAIN"
f
(
fig. I
)
located on the electronic unit.
• We do not recommend using the minimum or maximum positions.
•
The duty flush
g
(fig. I),
is programmed to flush automatically for 60 seconds every 24 hours
after the last use. This can be cancelled or programmed to flush 12 hours after the last use by placing
the connecting pins in line with the desired programme (
fig. K
).
• c
: Safety transformer PRI: 220-240V~ / SEC: 12V~
• d
: LED diagnostic aids
• e
: Terminal connectors
• f
: Adjusts the detection distance
• g
: "Duty flush" pin connectors
Adjusting the flow rate (fig. L):
• The flow rate is pre-set at the factory at 3 lpm (at 3 bar).
• The flow rate can be adjusted directly on the flow straightener using a 2.5 mm Allen key:
- notch 1 = 3 lpm (at 3 bar)
- notch 2 = 4 lpm (at 3 bar)
- notch 3 = 5 lpm (at 3 bar)
ANTI-SCALDING SAFETY VIA MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE LIMITER (mixers)
Conventional side temperature selection lever (fig. M):
The product is delivered with the maximum temperature limiter engaged.
To override it:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the grub screw at the back of the mixer body using a 4mm Allen key and remove the
temperature selection lever.
• Prise upwards (e.g. with a flat-headed screwdriver) to remove the limiter
k
.
Extended side lever LH (fig. N):
The product is delivered with the maximum temperature limiter engaged.
To override it:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the grub screw at the back of the mixer body using a 4mm Allen key and remove
the temperature selection lever.
• Prise upwards (e.g. with a flat-headed screwdriver) to remove the limiter
l
.
• Position the limiter
l
in location
m
to achieve hot water at temperature of the system.
Central lever (fig. O):
The temperature limiter is fixed in position
o
at the factory. It is possible to change it to position
n
to limit the temperature, or remove it to override the limiter:
• Isolate the water supply.
• Loosen the locking screw using a 2.5mm Allen key and remove the lever
q
.
• Carefully pull-out the sensor
r
a few centimetres.
• Remove the limiter
p
using a 2mm Allen key.
