9.4 USB Cable
An optional USB cable may be used with the DDU-2000 Series AED for connecting the AED to a personal computer
running Defibtech maintenance software. The AED has a mini-USB connector located on the right side of the unit
behind the data card/USB port access door.
WARNING
Do not have a USB cable attached
to the unit during a rescue.
9.5 ECG Monitoring Adapter
An optional ECG Monitoring Adapter cable (DAC-2020/2021) may be used with the DDU-2400/2450 AED to provide
a non-diagnostic ECG display of the patient’s heart rhythm for attended patient monitoring. The adapter uses the
same connector socket in the AED used by the defibrillation pads.
