To enable the anti-legionella function, set the parameter DP004=1
10 Maintenance
10.1 General
The boiler does not require complicated maintenance. We nevertheless recommend inspecting it frequently and performing
maintenance on it at regular intervals.
The boiler must be maintained by a qualified installer in accordance with local and national regulations.
Ensure that the boiler is not supplied with voltage.
Replace faulty or worn parts with original spare parts.
Always replace all gaskets on parts removed during inspection and maintenance operations.
Check that all gaskets are correctly positioned (the position is correct and flat in the corresponding groove, which is watertight
and airtight).
Water (drops, splashes) must never come into contact with electrical parts during inspection and maintenance operations due
to the risk of electric shocks.
10.2 Maintenance message
10.2.1 Service notification
When the boiler needs to be serviced, a request message appears on the display. Use the automatic assistance notification for
preventative maintenance to reduce interruptions to a minimum.
Important
Maintenance must be carried out within two months of notification.
Important
If the modulating thermostat is connected to the boiler, this thermostat can also display the message SERVICE.
Consult the thermostat manual.
Important
Reset SERVICE notification after maintenance is complete.
10.2.2 Maintenance message
The purpose of this function is to warn the user that the boiler requires maintenance.
When SVC appears on the display and the symbol flashes, the boiler requires maintenance. Contact your installer.
The boiler is delivered with this function disabled. Proceed as follows to enable notifications on the display:
1. Access the installer parameter setting;
2. Enable setting AP010.
3. Apply the AP011 setting by entering the number of hours the boiler has been in operation (from the moment the boiler was
first supplied with electric power irrespective of the number of times the burner has been switched on and off).
4. Enter the number of burner start-up hours using the AP009 parameter.
