Record Uncompressed: When ticked, audio is recorded without compression. This will use
additional hard disk space.
Playback Volume : Adjusts volume control of playback on local audio output of NVR. Scale is 0
(minimum) to 100 (maximum). blank into the Endpoint Proxy Target field, replacing the camera
number. This closes the 8081 port and prevents the camera from cyber attack via password attack.
Database Page
This page manages the event database
Clicking on the
Show Events
button causes a list of recent system event s to be displayed.
Clicking on the
Reset Database
button clears the event database.
Maps Page
This page allows images to be imported and used as maps that can be displayed in Enterprise
Observer software, using the “Map” plugin.
The map can then have hotspots added to allow quick navigation to individual cameras.
This provides another simple way of selecting camera images for viewing, particularly on a site
with a large number of cameras, as to view the live image from a camera it is only necessary to
click on the corresponding camera hotspot on the map.
