Audible alerts
e-track
TM
’s
buzzer can generate two types of audible alerts. Pre-set
alerts that depend on device’s situations and user-set alerts which
depend on an user’s event-driven configuration
The pre-set alerts:
•
Start: Two consecutive beeps indicate that the unit has power
ON or has reset and it is ready to work.
•
OFF: A 3-seconds beep indicates that the unit is powering OFF.
•
Low-batt: A single beep every 30 minutes indicates that the
internal battery charge is less than 20 percent.
•
Button press: A single beep is heard whenever the button is
pressed.
•
Ring: On an incoming voice call,
e-track
TM
generates two dif-
ferent tones every 4 seconds until the call is answered.

User-set alerts (controlled with the
XAZZ
message) [Advanced]:
•
0: Stop a user alert
•
1: Generates a one-second continuous beep.
•
2: Generates a 3-second single beep.
All audible alerts can be turned OFF. Use

Button
The general purpose button is used to:
•
Turn the unit OFF: Hold the button until a long beep is heard.
•
Turn the unit ON: Press the button once.
•
Answer an incoming voice call: Press the button once.
Depending on an
Assisted
Configuration it could also be used to:
•
Generate a report to a Tracking Server: While ON, press the
button once.
•
Arm a geo-fence alarm: While ON, press the button twice (two-
click press). To unarm press the button twice.
