Identifying the Firebacks
Divider Fireback
End Firebacks (firebacks are interchangeable and may be placed on either side)
The end fireback has a hole
on the bottom.
Glass Fireback
The glass fireback is placed along the back wall of the
firebox.
It is shipped with the glass panes.
To install, lift it into place using suction cups (see the
illustration to the right for instructions on sliding it into
place). The painted surface of the glass scratches
easily and must be placed away from the fire.
Glass firebacks use black enamel firebacks for the
end, divider and bay firebacks.
The Fireback Glass (Ceramic) is FRAGILE
The inner piece of glass, used as the fireback, is ceramic, not tempered glass. This makes the glass more
fragile. Take care to prevent damaging the glass edges during installation.
