How To Update Firmware On The SE-3000
Keeping your SE-3000’s firmware updated is essential.
New updates will always be available to download from
the SE-3000 product page on the Datavideo US website.
It is quite easy to update the firmware yourself.
Note: You must update both the processor and the control
panel for the firmware to take effect. If you update only
one, the menu functions on the SE-3000 will not work
correctly.
What you will need:
USB extension cord (included with the SE-3000)
USB thumb drive (not included)
DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE
1.
Download the
latest firmware
revision from the
SE-3000 product
page on our
website:
www.datavideo.us
. It will be shown
as a zip file.
Click on the “Product
Downloads” Tab to see the
available software
downloads for the SE-
3000.
2.
Open the
downloaded zip
file from your
download folder or
from your saved
directory and copy
the “se3000”
folder onto an
empty USB stick or
thumb drive.
Note:
Your USB
stick or thumb drive should
only have the “se3000”
folder on the main
directory. No other files
should be saved on the
drive while updating.
Note:
The SE-3000 folder should have the following files:
Release Notes.txt
Se3000 Panel
Se3000 Processor
Se3000_CP_usb_startup.bat
Se3000_PU_usb_startup.bat
