3.2.1 KEYER CONTROL MENU
The Keyer Control Menu allows you to adjust
the current Wipe Pattern.
The diagonal white line on the grid shows
how the lift & gain controls are being
applied to the wipe pattern.
You can move the end points of the line
using the touch-interface on the LCD.
All values can be controlled by the control
knobs, the number keypad, or by the
Joystick.
3.2.1.1 Lift Control
The Lift Control adjusts the “Lift” or the light
or dark values of the key source against the
key background.
Key Lift Range –100% to + 100%
This is used when the picture you are trying
to chromakey looks too transparent and you
are seeing too much of the background
source.
Adding Lift makes the effect more precise,
keying only your preferred area.
Subtracting lift will make the whole picture
more transparent, revealing more of the
background source.
