2.3.4.2 Analog outputs
To use an analog connection as output, be sure to check the appropriate box
(in the RSS program
under
Settings/Analog Connector
)
:
1. Analog 1 (green)
a. Input (or)
b. Fan Control
With the Fan Control selected, the output signal regulates fan operation. It is factory set
for all units equipped with the cooling option. The temperature-controlled open-
collector transistor is rated 100 mA maximum.The unit’s internal thresholds are set for
ON
≈
48º C and OFF at
≈
38º C.
2. Analog 2 (white)
a. Input
The following two selections depend on hardware configuration and should not be changed in the
field.
b. Rx-Tp
With the Rx-Tp selected, the output signal performs as the receiver demodulated audio
signal test point (Rx-Tp). The Rx-Tp should measure 1 V p-p.
c. Antenna SW
Tx = Low
Rx = Open
With the Antenna Switch Control selected, the output is an open collector transistor rated at 100
mA max. The output signal supports the use of a redundant (HSB) base.
2.4 OPERATION
Integra-H is designed for fully transparent operation. This means that all binary values are
transmitted as data with minimum time delays and without regard to their binary value. “Break” signals
can also be transmitted. Unlike most transparent radiomodems, Integra-H eliminates “bit dribble” and
allows DOX operation. A CRC-16 error check is used so that faulty data will not be delivered.
