3.6. External Cable Installation 

All external interfaces for the printer are located at the rear panel (Figure 3-6).  External 
connector signal assignments are defined in Table 1-4.  Perform the following steps to 
connect external cabling. 

a. Verify that the front panel circuit breaker is in the “off” position. 

b. Connect the system ground cable to the ground stud on the rear panel. 

c.  Install the data interface cable. 

d. Connect the power cable to the input connector on the rear panel. 
 

CAUTION 

VERIFY THAT THE POWER SOURCE CONFORMS 

TO THE LIMITS DEFINED IN TABLE 2-2.
