Laminator error recovery
The laminator LCD panel displays the error.
Card jam
The laminator LCD panel displays the location of the card jam: Card Jam (In),
Card Jam (Middle), or Card Jam (Out). Use the following steps to remove
card jams.
1
Open the laminator door by
pulling the top of the door
toward you.

Turn the take-up knob
clockwise to remove slack in
the laminator material.

Press the laminator cartridge
eject button and remove the
laminator cartridge. The
cartridge may be difficult to
remove; pull firmly, but do not
force. If cartridge cannot be
removed, call for service.

Use a coin to turn the jog dial,
which will move the card. The
jog dial can be turned
clockwise or counterclockwise
depending on the location of
the card.
5
Remove the jammed card.
The area around the heat
roller is very hot. Be careful
when removing a jammed
card.

stacker is not blocking the
card discharge slot.
