Verify Network Communication
Access Printer Manager to verify that your workstation and the printer can communicate over the
network. To further verify that the printer works as expected, print a test card. You also can use
Printer Manager to perform other printer setup tasks, as necessary.
Access Printer Manager
Printer Manager is a web interface that displays information about the printer and provides setup
and troubleshooting tools. Printer Manager is available through a web browser. Use a current
browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.

Use your network-connected PC to start Print Manager and log in.
Refer to “Start Printer Manager” on page 48 for information about starting and logging in to
Printer Manager.

The Printer Manager Welcome page displays, indicating that your printer and PC are
communicating successfully.
Refer to Chapter 4: "Using Printer Manager” for complete information about using Printer
Manager.

Continue with “Print a Test Card” on page 42 .
During normal operation, site personnel should not use Printer Manager unless asked
to do so.
