SECONDS MODE
The timer has a simple seconds mode that is entered from setup mode.
To go from basic f-Stop mode to seconds mode:
• Hold the menu key down in basic mode to enter setup mode. The display will

• Hold the menu key down to enter seconds mode. The display will show

seconds.
To return to basic f-Stop mode:

• Hold the menu key down to enter basic f-Stop mode. The display will show
2.0
stops.
The timer remembers the current mode when it is powered off and will power up in
the same mode.
Only two actions are possible in seconds mode:
• A timed exposure of 0.1 to 999.0 seconds
• Test strips/prints at equal time intervals
The expose key and footswitch work as before to start/pause/cancel and exposure
and turn the enlarger on and off for focusing.
Time is set in 0.1 second increments from 0.1 to 20.0 seconds; in 1.0 second
increments from 21.0 to 200.0 seconds; and in 10.0 second increments from 200.0
to 990 seconds.
The timer’s ramp speed for setting seconds can be increased by tapping the
opposing arrow key while the timer is ramping up or down.
Hitting the menu key advances to test strips

. The timer either makes strips or
a series of prints at equal time intervals as specified by setup mode’s test strip type.
The test strip interval can be set from 0.1 seconds to 99 seconds. The timer will
flash the time of the last strip at the completion of each test exposure.
