Limitations
As mentioned earlier, the 552 is intended for remote monitor-
ing and operation. It does not have the operational utility of its
big brother, the Inovonics 551 HD Mod-Monitor, which is a
much larger unit with extensive front-panel appointments and
display features. Yet the 552 offers nearly the same functional-
ity, but depends highly on use of a computer, tablet or, if you
must, a mobile phone for its control and display.
Discussions that follow assume use of Webpages screens for
setup and operation of your 552. A few of the features to be
discussed are at least partially controllable from the front panel
as noted in the Front Panel Menu Tree that follows. Main Menu
titles are underlined, sub-items listed are followed by a key.
