A removable screw-terminal strip on the rear panel accesses ten 

GENERAL PURPOSE OUTPUTS

 (GPO) terminals for 552 alarm 

‘tallies.’  GPOs are NPN transistors that saturate to ground and 

can  sink  up  to  100mA  at  40V  max.    Alarm  polarity  (active  

ground or active open) is software-programmable.  GPOs may 

be assigned to the various reception and program-fault alarms 

as detailed on Pages 45 and 46.
