5.2 Initiating a primary controller shift with the
RZ1 being promoted to the primary role
Should you wish to promote the RZ1 to the role of primary controller
in your network, do so by following the same process as for including
the RZ1 as a secondary controller in a network (See section 4.4).
NOTE
:
It is the responsibility of the existing network controller to
initiate a controller shift, which the RZ1 will support.
6.0 Using the Protection Capabilities
This product supports the Z-Wave protection command class.
A device associated to an output relay on the RZ1 can use the
protection command class to:
• Stop a user from manually overriding a relay via the channel push
buttons using local protection.
• Stop another RF device controlling the relay via a wireless
command using RF exclusive protection.
