7) If the jaws need to be replaced, follow this procedure:
Turn off the red service maintenance switch and remove the key.
Use a 7/16” socket and remove the bolt holding each jaw bracket/jaw to the sliding
bar.
Install the new jaw, apply Loctite to the bolt threads, and torque bolt to 15 ft-lbs torque.
Using a 7/16” socket, loosen the two nuts on the carriage bolts and adjust the height
of the jaw to best fit your wheelchair.
Insert the red service maintenance key and turn on the switch. Turn on the machine
and test it for correct operation.
8) If the anti-static wire needs to be replaced, follow this procedure:
Turn off the red service maintenance switch and remove the key.
In a clear open area, use the handlebars to pull the machine to one side and lay it
down on the floor.
