1.1 Installation situation
Figure 1: Installation situation principle
The system may not be used in potentially explosive environment.
Note:
We are advising that backwater closures in compliance with DIN EN 12056 Part 1 to 5 may only be used in compliance with the local construction
regulations and the following installation criteria:
The spaces have a lower ranking use, which means that no significant material values or the health of the residents will be impacted if the spaces
flood.
The user circle is small and a lavatory is available above the backwater level.
The use of the drain points can be waved in the event of backwater.
Only drain points that are located below the backwater level may be routed through the backwater closure.
If the installation of the backwater does not correspond with the criteria listed above, we cannot offer a warranty for the product. Dallmer is not
liable for any damage as a result of backwater.
1.2 Operation
Compliance with accident prevention regulations, applicable DIN and VDE standards and guidelines and the regulations issued by the local power
supply company is mandatory for installation, operation, maintenance or repair of the system.
Check if the electronics and cables are functional prior to installing the Stausafe F. In the event of damage, the Stausafe F may not be placed in
operation.
The permanent accessibility of the Stausafe F, manual locking of the Stausafe F and electronics housing is absolutely required.
The Stausafe F has mechanical components that are powered electrically. Non-compliance with the operating instructions may result in a risk of
material damage and personal injuries.
The control must be disconnected from power and/or de-energized prior to opening the Stausafe or control housing!
Note:
No repair or service work may be carried out while backwater is expected or existing.
Qualified technicians must check and test the system according to EN 13564 semi-annually. For this purpose, we recommend entering a service
contract.
