Statuses Menu
The
Statuses Menu
allows the user to view the status of the components of the U•V6 unit.

Measurement
Channels
Provides the statuses for each channel:

Disabled
: the system
considers this channel to be
inactive

Measurement Display
Outputs
Provides the status of the outputs:
-
The system considers this
output to be disabled
-
enabled
/
disabled
Analogue Output
Gives the status of the analogue output:
-
The system considers the
analogue output to be
disabled
-
0-20mA: if the user presses
ENTER,
the system gives the
output current in mA
-
4-20mA: if the user presses
ENTER,
the system gives the
control output current in mA
Power Supply
Indicates the status of the unit, i.e.
connected to the mains or battery use,
where applicable. The voltage of the
unit is displayed when the user
presses
ENTER
.
Battery
States whether or not a battery is
present. If a battery is present, the
voltage of the battery is displayed
when the user presses
ENTER
.
Temperature
Indicates the temperature of the U•V6
unit: pressing
ENTER
causes the
system to display the minimum,
average and maximum temperatures.

Test Menu
This
Test Menu
allows the user to check that the display or the LEDs on the front panel are
working correctly. Gas detection works as per usual while a test is being carried out.
