1 Lea v e s p ace for ser v icing the unit and include ins p ection hatch. (Always o p en a
hole on the side of the control box so that the air filters, heat exchange elements,
fans, and humidifier elements can easily be ins
p ected and ser v iced.)
2 Install the two outdoor ducts with down slo p e (slo p e of 1/30 or more) to p re v ent
entry of rain water, also, p ro v ide insulation for three ducts (outdoor ducts and
indoor su pp ly air duct) to p re v ent dew condensation) (material: glass wool of
2 5mm thick).
3 Do not turn the unit u p side down.
4 Use city water of clean water. Include water su pp ly p i p ing with straner, a water
su pp ly shut-off v al v e, and a drain v al v e (both locally p rocured) somewhere along
the water su pp ly p i p ing that can be reached from the ins p ection.
5 It is im p ossible to connect the water su pp ly p i p ing directly to p ublic p i p ing, use
a cistern tank (of the a pp ro v ed ty p e), if you need to get your water su pp ly from
p ublic p i p ing.
6 Make sure the su pp ly water 0.0 2 M P a to 0.4 9 M P a (0. 2 kg/cm² to 5kg/cm²)
7 Make sure the su pp ly water is between 5° C and 40° C in tem p erature.
8 Insulate the water su pp ly p i p ing to p re v ent condensation from forming.
9 Make sure install drain p i p ing, and insulate drain p i p ing to p re v ent dew
condensation.
10 Kee p the drain p i p e short and slo p ing downwards at a gradient of at least 1/100
to p re v ent air from forming.
11 Install in a location where the air around the unit or taken into the humidifier will
not dro
p below 0° C .
1 2 Do not use a bent ca p or a round hood as the outdoor hood if they might get
rained on directly (we recommend using a dee p hood) (o p tional accessory).
13 In areas where freezing may occur, always take ste p s to p re v ent the p i p es from
freezing.
14 Do not p lace something which shouldn’t be get wet at the below of this unit. The
dew would fall at following case, where humidity is 80% more, or the exit of drain
socket is choked u
p , or the air filter is v ery dirty.
15 Feed clean water, the su pp ly water is hard water. Use water softener because
of short life. Life of humidifying element is about 3 years 4,000 hours), under the
su
pp ly water conditions of hardness: 150mg/L. (Life of humidifying element is
about 1 year (1500 hours), under the su pp ly water conditions of hardness:
400mg/L.)
