Charging refrigerant: Setup
See
"6.5.3 Checking refrigerant piping: Setup" on page 16
.
6.6.6
To charge additional refrigerant
WARNING
▪ Only use R410A as refrigerant. Other substances may
cause explosions and accidents.
▪ R410A contains fluorinated greenhouse gases. Its
global warming potential (GWP) value is 2087.5. Do
NOT vent these gases into the atmosphere.
▪ When charging refrigerant, always use protective
gloves and safety glasses.
CAUTION
To avoid compressor breakdown, do NOT charge more
than the specified amount of refrigerant.
Prerequisite:
Before charging refrigerant, make sure the refrigerant
piping is connected and checked (leak test and vacuum drying).
1
Connect the refrigerant cylinder to both the service port of the
gas stop valve and the service port of the liquid stop valve.
2
Charge the additional refrigerant amount.
3
Open the stop valves.
If pump down is needed in case of dismantling or relocating the
system, see To pump down for more details.

f

NOTICE
Applicable legislation on
fluorinated greenhouse gases
requires that the refrigerant charge of the unit is indicated
both in weight and CO
2
equivalent.
Formula to calculate the quantity in CO
2
equivalent
tonnes:
GWP value of the refrigerant × total refrigerant
charge [in kg] / 1000
Use the GWP value mentioned on the refrigerant charge
label. That GWP is based on the current legislation on
fluorinated greenhouse gases. The GWP mentioned in the
manual might be outdated.
2
Fix the label on the inside of the outdoor unit. There is a
dedicated place for it on the wiring diagram label.
6.7
Connecting the electrical wiring
6.7.1
About connecting the electrical wiring
Typical workflow
Connecting the electrical wiring typically consists of the following
stages:
1
Making sure the power supply system complies with the
electrical specifications of the units.
2
Connecting the electrical wiring to the outdoor unit.
3
Connecting the electrical wiring to the indoor units.
4
Connecting the main power supply.
6.7.2
About electrical compliance
RZQ RZQG100~140_Y1
Equipment complying with:
▪
EN/IEC 61000‑3‑12
provided that the short-circuit power S
sc
is
greater than or equal to the minimum S
sc
value at the interface
point between the user's supply and the public system.
▪ EN/IEC
61000‑3‑12
=
European/International
Technical
Standard setting the limits for harmonic currents produced by
equipment connected to public low-voltage systems with input
current >16 A and ≤75 A per phase.
▪ It is the responsibility of the installer or user of the equipment to
ensure, by consultation with the distribution network operator if
necessary, that the equipment is connected only to a supply
with a short-circuit power S
sc
greater than or equal to the
minimum S
sc
value.
