12. TEST OPERATION
-�CAUTION-----------------------­
When performing field setting or test operation without attaching the decoration panel, do not
touch the drain pump. This may cause electric shock.
<Complete all the "1. Items to be checked after the installation work is completeted" on page 4.
Please also refer to the installation manual attached to outdoor unit.>
Refer to the section of "FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS, TAKE SPECIAL CARE DURING
CONSTRUCTION AND CHECK AFTER INSTALLATION IS FINISHED.".
• After finishing the construction of refrigerant piping, drain piping, and electric wiring, conduct test operation
accordingly to protect the unit.
• Check that the outdoor unit has been wired properly.
• Check that the control box lid of the indoor unit is closed and that the outer plate and piping cover of the
outdoor unit are closed as well.
• Clean the decoration panel and interior of the indoor unit on completion of refrigerant piping, drain piping,
and electric wiring work.
• Refer to the installation manual of the outdoor unit, and perform the test operation of the air conditioner.
• If the decoration panel is mounted at the time of test operation, check the operation of the swing flap of the
decoration panel.
• If the interior finishing work has been still on the way on completion of test operation, explain to the
customer not to operate the air conditioner for the protection of the indoor unit until the interior finishing
work is completed.
If the air conditioner is operated, substances generated from the paint and glue of the interior finishing will
contaminate the indoor unit, thus resulting in water splashing or leakage.
• If an error occurs and the air conditioner does not operate, refer to the troubleshooting information provided
in the installation manual attached with remote controller.
NOTE --
• If a malfunction is preventing operation, refer to the malfunction diagnoses.
