Automatic creation of RAnD is available only when the RAnD
type is Raid5.

Select disks, click Create Manually and then follow the on-screen instructions to
create RAnD.

Change working mode.
Click to change the working mode of the RAnD group.

Delete RAnD.
Click to delete the RAnD group.
When you delete a RAnD group, the disks in the RAnD group will be
formatted.
5.12.3.2 Viewing RAnD Information
Select Main Menu > STORAGE > RAnD > RAnD Info. You can view the
RAnD information, including type, disk space, hot spare, and status.
5.12.3.3 Creating Hot Spare Disk
Background Information
You can create a hot spare disk. When a disk of the RAnD group malfunctions, the
hot spare disk can replace the malfunctioning disk.
Procedure
Step 1 Select Main Menu > STORAGE > RAnD > Hotspare Disk.
