WARNING
!!!!!
Do not turn the key switch to the
“Start” position while the en-
gine is running.
12. Warm up the engine for 3 to 4 min-
utes (10 minutes in winter) after
releasing the clutch pedal.

13. Check to see that all the warning
lamps on the instrument cluster
turn “OFF”.
CHECKING CHECK LAMPS
1.If the oil pressure warning lamp (2)
does not go off in 4 to 5 seconds
after the engine is properly started,
stop the engine immediately and
If any lamp remains on, immediately
stop the engine and determine the
cause.
WARNING
!!!!!
The engine can be severely
damaged if it is run with the oil
pressure warning lamp ON.
2. If the charge warning lamp (3) does
not go off in 4 to 5 seconds after
the engine is properly started, it
means that the battery is not being
charged. Have the charging
system, such as the battery and
alternator, serviced.
3. Refer to “Instrument panel” in chap-
ter 4 for detailed information about
other indicators and lamps.
WARNING
!!!!!
If driving the tractor for an ex-
tended period of time with the
charge warning lamp ON, the
battery can be discharged and
the tractor’s electrical system
can be damaged.
11. When the engine is started, re-
lease the key. Then, the key is au-
tomatically turned back to the “ON”
position.
check the engine oil level. If the
engine oil level is proper, contact
your local KIOTI Dealer.
