5. CONTROL
CABLE
CONNECTIONS
5.1
The control cables and the mains cables
must
be laid separately.
In no case can they be laid in the same channel or protective pipe.
A screened cable must be used for control cables.
5.2
Pass the control cable through the closed hole of the cable clamp, removing the cap (Fig.1-2).
Connect the control cables as indicated in Fig. 4 – 5.
In Model B, in order to make the electrical connections, it is necessary to remove the terminal board
from the Hydrodriver (see Fig. 2 ).
When the connections have been completed, reinsert the terminal board in the Hydrodriver, replace
the cover and tighten the 4 retaining screws.
Fig. 3 Connecting the control leads
Before switching on the appliance you must close the cover and the retaining screws must
be tightened with the required torque ( Fig. 1-2 ).
After switching off you must always wait 5 minutes, so that the capacitors of the
intermediate circuit can be discharged. ALWAYS WAIT 5 MINUTES BEFORE
REMOVING THE COVER OF THE HYDRODRIVER.
6. CHARACTERISTICS-INTERPRETATIONS-
BASIC
OPERATION.
The HYDRODRIVER is a regulating unit fitted directly on the motor of the electropump which keeps the
differential pressure in the system constant by regulating the revs of the pump itself.
The Hydrodriver is self-protected and protects the electropump against
overloads , lack of phase, excess
temperature, and excess or insufficient voltage, with automatic reset up to five times.
Standard version supplied with: remote control terminals, terminals for regulating the economy function,
terminals for regulating the rotation command in the operation of twin electropumps, terminals (without
potential) for remote resetting of an alarm, pressure regulating knob and luminous LEDs (yellow-green) for
indicating status.
