Before doing any work on the electrical or mechanical part of the system, always switch off
the voltage at the mains. Wait at least five minutes after switching off the power before
opening the appliance.
The capacitor in the intermediate circuit remains charged with a
dangerously high voltage even after the power has been switched off.
Only firmly wired mains connections are admissible. The appliance must be earthed (IEC 536 class
1, NEC and other related standards).
Mains terminals may carry dangerous voltage even with the motor stopped.
In certain calibration conditions, the converter may restart automatically after a power cut.
Take care because the following terminals may carry dangerous voltage even when the converter is
not in operation:
mains connection terminals L1, L2 and L3 – motor terminals U, V and W.
Do not run the appliance in direct sunlight.
This appliance cannot be used as an “EMERGENCY STOP mechanism ”
(see EN 60204, 9.2.5.4).
