Section 3 - Configuration
To configure IPv6 routes, click
IPv6
on the
Static Routes
page. To return to the
main
IPv4 static routes
page, click
IPv4
.
To remove a rule, click on the trash can icon in the Delete column. To edit a
rule, click on the pencil icon in the Edit column. To create a new rule, click the
Add Rules
button. Click
Apply
when you are done. If you edit or create a rule,
the following options will appear:
Name:
Enter a name for the route.
DestNetwork:
This is the IP address of the router used to reach the specified
destination.
PrefixLen:
Enter the IPv6 address prefix length of the packets that will take
this route.
Gateway:
Enter your next hop gateway to be taken if this route is in use.
Metric:
The route metric is a value from 1 to 16 that indicates the cost of
using this route. A value of 1 represents the lowest cost and 16 the
highest cost.
Interface:
Select an interface that the IP packet must use to transit out of the
router when this route is in use.
