Kit Operation

Figure 3-8

 shows the integrated battery compartment and bind button located at the bottom of the

keyboard. The battery compartment cover is also shown.

The CY4636 keyboard can be programmed using a PSoC MiniProg or ICE Cube. Remove the
jumper from J3. Connect your computer to the keyboard's ISSP Connector (J2) using the PSoC
MiniProg and a USB cable (A to Mini B). You can program using PSoC Programmer. The jumper
must be removed when programming U2 to disconnect the radio from the MiniProg 5 V source. After
programming is complete, place the jumper on J3.

To program the hex file to the keyboard using the MiniProg, open PSoC Programmer and select the
MiniProg from the Port Selection window, click 

Open

 and select the Hex file, click 

Program

Programming is in progress the Target Power LED on the MiniProg is ON.
