425A Side Handles
Kit No. 425AK015
Installation Instructions
NOTE: This instruction sheet describes how to install
the side handles on the Arc Trainer 425A.
Tools Required
• 7/32” Allen wrench
1. Read and understand all instructions thoroughly
before installing this kit.
2. Verify kit contents. See Figure 1.
A. Left side handle (1), 425A-217
B. Right side handle (1), 425A-218
C. BHSCS .375-16 x .75 blk zinc (8), HS-60531
D. Loctite #242, YA000201
B. Place a drop of loctite (D) on the four new
BHSCS (C). Place another drop of loctite in
the threaded hole where each BHSCS will
be tightened into.
C. Install the left side handle using the four
BHSCS/loctite. Tighten the four BHSCS
securely. NOTE: Install the handle bracket
so that the bend of the handle is toward
the front. Figure 2.
D. Repeat steps 3A through 3C to install the
right side handle.
E. Test the unit to verify proper operation.

3. Install the handles.
A. Using a 7/32” Allen wrench, remove the
outside four Button Head Socket Cap
Screw (BHSCS) securing the left rear leg
to the frame. See Figure 2.
