Using PEAP
Proceed as follows:
• Open the Web Page of this device (see paragraph 12.1 ).
• Log in as the administrator (see paragraph 12.2 ).
• Select “Admin Setup”.
• Select “Network” > “IEEE802.1X”.
• Select “Enabled” for “IEEE802.1X”.
• Select “PEAP” in “EAP Type”.
• Enter the user name in “EAP User”.
• Enter the password in “EAP Password”.
• Select “Authenticate Server” and click IMPORT.
• Enter the file name of the CA certificate and click OK.
Specify the certificate of the certificate authority (CA)
used for the RADIUS server authentication. PEM, DER
and KCS#7 can be imported.
• Click SUBMIT.
• Turn off the device when it becomes online.
• Remove the LAN cable from the device.
Connecting the device to an authentication switch
Proceed as follows:
• Make sure that the device is turned off.
• Connect a LAN cable to the network interface connector
of the device.
• Insert the other end of the LAN cable into the authenti-
cation port of the authentication switch.
• Turn on the device.
• Set the IP address, etc of the device.
