PARK BRAKE
The rear brake includes a park brake consisting of a
wheel brake lever. The wheel brake lever is controlled by
a cable that is attached to the hand operated lever.
Lubrication
When lubricating the park brake,
use the recommended dry spray
lubricant. Commercial lubricant can
attract dirt and accelerate wear.
The hand operated park brake lever requires periodic
lubrication with a dry graphite or molybdenum disulfide
lubricant. Lift the lever and spray underneath to access
the pivot arm and ratchet mechanism of the park brake.
Refer to the Scheduled Maintenance in the GENERAL
INFORMATION AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE section
of this manual for recommended lubrication schedule.
