Scan Freeze In Mode will only be operable in Modes which display the generic Output Mode screen, e.g. Output 3 (named
‘IOM’ in the example above). Any combination of Modes can be selected, however, please note that Scan Freeze In Mode will
not operate in Modes, which do not show the generic Output Mode Screen, e.g. Drive Mode, Seating Mode etc. When the
drop-down menu is closed the selected Modes are expressed as numbers. The numbers 0 to 7 refer to Modes 1 to 8.
When in the applicable Mode, e.g. Output 3, the normal scan sequence will be in operation, however, whilst in this Mode the
scan sequence can be frozen or unfrozen by a long depression of the User Switch, i.e. for a period of time greater than the
value of Switch Medium. When the scan sequence is frozen, short depressions of the User Switch, i.e. for periods of time less
than Switch Medium, will issue commands relating to the frozen icon, e.g. ‘Right’, each time the User Switch is released.
With the scan sequence unfrozen and the User Switch pressed for a period of time shorter than Switch Medium, a command
relating to the displayed icon will be issued upon release of the switch. If the scanner sequence was previously frozen and the
Output Mode screen is exited and re-entered, then the normal scan sequence will restart, resetting the frozen icon.
2.5
GLOBAL – SLEEP 12V
This sets whether the 12V supply to the D-type connectors is present while the Omni2 is asleep*.
There are two programmable options, On and Off.
If set to On, then the 12V supply will be present when the Omni2 is asleep.
If set to Off, then the 12V supply will not be present when the Omni2 is asleep.
*Asleep is the Sleep state entered via a long operation of the User Switch or from the User Menu.
NOTE (OP)
For prolonged periods of inactivity, for example overnight, the powerchair should be powered-down using the On/Off
Switch. This will prevent the control system from draining the batteries while asleep.
2.6
PROFILED – PORT

The programmable options are 1 or 2.
2.7
