2.13 GLOBAL – EXTERNAL ON/OFF SWITCH DETECT

To maximize the error-checking capability, the resistors must be fitted as physically close as possible to the switch contacts.
2.14 GLOBAL – SLEEP 12V

For prolonged periods of inactivity, for example overnight, the powerchair should be powered-down using the On/Off
Switch. This will prevent the control system from draining the batteries while asleep.

2.17 USER CONTROL

It is not advisable to program the menu options, ‘Speed Adjust’ or ‘Profile Select’, if the Sequence method is being used with
Single Switch Scanner-Type SIDs.

When using a Single Switch Scanner-Type SID, it is advisable to program an appropriate scanning rate for the User Menu. This
is achieved using the programmable parameter, Menu Scan Rate. Operations of the User Switch whilst scanning through the
User Menu will change settings or enter the highlighted Profile or Mode.
2.18 FWD/REV AUTO TOGGLE

It is not possible to use the Fwd/Rev Auto Toggle function if latched driving is required, as there is a conflict in user command
logic. If Fwd/Rev Auto Toggle is set to On and latched drive is enabled in programming, then an error message ‘Bad Settings’
will appear.
