Gx-E Operating Mode
This mode of operation provides the GPS receiver inside the GBX with
corrections from an external RTCM source. This mode of operating is
best used with the CSI Wireless ‘Y’ Data Cable discussed in Section
2.6.4.
To establish communications between the GBX, an external RTCM
source, and your data monitoring device, you must:
•
Connect Pin-2-TXA of the GBX to the receive pin of the monitor
•
Connect Pin-3-RXA of the GBX to TX of the monitor device if bi-directional
communication is required
•
Connect Pin-5-Common Ground of the GBX to the signal return or common
ground of the monitor.
•
Connect Pin-8-RXB of the GBX to TX of the external RTCM source
•
Connect Pin-5-Common Ground of the GBX to the signal return or common
ground of the external RTCM source
