Refer to Appendix B for further Interface information when operating in
the various operating modes defined in Section 3.2.
For successful communications, the P1-Main baud rate of the GBX
must be set to match that of the device to which it is connected. Refer
to Section 3.5 and Section 3.6 for instructions related to setting the
GBX baud rate.
2.4 GBX-PRO Secondary Serial Port
The secondary serial port (Port B) of the G12 GPS engine inside the
GBX-PRO is routed to the external data connector located on the rear
panel. As indicated in Table 2-2, the transmit line of the secondary
serial port of the G12 is available on pin 6, while the receive line is
available on pin 8. The signal ground for this port is available on pin 5,
and is shared with the main serial port.
