3.7 GBX Menu System
This section shows you how to navigate through the menu system of
the GBX receiver, change operating modes, monitor position and
differential status information, and change receiver configuration.
Figure 3-5 illustrates the layout of the GBX receiver’s menu system.
3.7.1 Start-Up Sequence
When you apply power to the GBX, it will sequence through four
initialization screens. These start up screens include a receiver
initialization and memory check, a display test, a customized splash
screen, and a screen displaying the receiver serial number, software
version, and the current operating mode.
Following initialization, the receiver proceeds directly to the
Position
Status
branch of the menu tree if the GBX is in GBx, Gx-E, or Bx-E
mode. When operating in Bx mode, the GBX will proceed directly to the
Beacon Status
branch of the menu tree.
